December 1999 - Project Progress
Well I took time from plowing snow and otherwise playing with my 3/4 ton Dodge 4x4 to install the fenders, hood and grill. It's begining to look like a Jeep again. The original fenders needed to be replaced and the new ones required modification for the shock mounts. The body needed to move back about 3/4" also.

Notice the lift in the front. There is a 4" piece of angle iron and 1" longer shackels.
If you look closely in the lower photo you can see the 2" spacer at the rear.
This keeps the steering geometry as it was originally.
The pedals fit in ok with the body moved back.
Yep that's cancer inside the wheel house.
Below the cancer you can see the 11 gauge that the body rests on.
