There have been many articles written in 4WD magazines on suspension lifts. However I could not find anything on reversing the shackles. I decided early in the project I would document the project and build a web page on my experience. I hope this provides someone else with useful information.
Before going any further, I must give recognition to the greatest Willys information resource I know of. Without the members of Willys Tech email group this project would have been much more difficult, if not impossible. The members are always willing to provide any information they have on these old vehicles. With better than 2,300 members worldwide, most with 2 or more Willys vehicles, the knowledge base is enormous. Follow this link join this great family of Willys lovers.
