Well, Ole' Blue was offered on Ebay. I won the auction, and
another WRM (Willys Recovery Mission) ensued. This time near
Buffalo, NY. The pictures below tell it as it is. Can anyone say,
CANCER?
Well we loaded it up on the trailer and "It followed me
home"
After returning home I was able to start him and drive him
around. The transmission, transfer case and drive axles seem ok.
However the breaks - well, not so good. i.e. shot!
Update 4/5/2010
I just don't have the energy to make this into something so it has to go.
The Good News
- Clean Ohio title
- Engine runs
- Oil pressure 18 psi at 750 idle -30+ at 2,500 rpm
- Coolant temp steady 160° F at the water outlet.
(measured with laser thermometer)T
- Transmission Transfer case and axles have all gears (drives)
The not so Good News
- Needs Brakes
- Body? cancer - see pictures
